Recruitpoint.net · Recruiting Management Software |
Recruitpoint.net is a web based application developed using PHP and MySQL. It currently runs on Linux, but it is portable to any UNIX or Windows operating system. The software was built from a core framework to provide consistency in functionality and "look and feel" throughout the application. The back-end database can be upgraded to Oracle to support larger corporate customers. |

BMC Software · Corporate Acquisitions (Technical Due-Diligence) |
We provided technical due-diligence for BMC's corporate acquisitions department of six companies over two years. We met with each company to review the software and hardware components of their business, provide critical analysis of the company's technical products and infrastructure, and present BMC with a written report of the results. This gave BMC the technical information they needed to determine the value and utility of the proposed acquisition. |

BMC Software · EDP · Database Tools (Data Distributor) |
We performed further development on BMC's EDP Database product line by building a C++ application to execute on OS/390 (MVS) and distribute real-time data to a collection of heterogeneous target databases. The software was written to be portable across MVS, UNIX and NT to support future product requirements. This development project lasted six months. |

BMC Software · EDP · Database Tools (Database Loaders - Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server) |
We contracted our services to BMC for three years to help them develop the open systems side (UNIX and NT) of their mainframe "data propagation" product, EDP. We developed a core framework for accepting data from their mainframe product's data sources and loading real-time and batch data to local target databases. We designed and developed Oracle, Sybase, and SQL server modules using this framework. We also helped BMC employees learn the framework by taking them through the development of the UDB (IBM's DB2 for open systems) interface. We wrote the code base entirely in C++ to help BMC move towards an object oriented approach to development. |

Region 13, Education Services Center · Web Development (Internal Web Based Community) |
We developed this web based software for Region 13 over ten months. The software was written in PHP using mySQL as the database, and runs on a Linux server. The software provides email, chat rooms, bulletin boards, calendars, FAQs, and downloadable file lists as a set of services that are configured by each of the 15 different groups to support their communities. |

Altra Energy Technologies · Natural Gas Software (TCP/IP Applications) |
We developed a set of TCP/IP application to provide connectivity between the various companies in the Natural Gas industry and their customers. The software was developed as traditional client/server software in C and C++ running on NT and UNIX. We built several different software applications: a real-time data feed from the NYMEX commodities exchange, a distribution mechanism for industry publications, a dialup application to connect customers to a proprietary TCP/IP network, and a real-time weather application. Development for this set of software applications spanned three years. |

Zeh Graphic Systems · Large Format Printing Software |
We developed software for Zeh Graphic systems over 3 1/2 years. Over this time we developed graphics file converters and printer drivers for specialty printers including large format printers and plotters. All of the software was written in C and ran on a large variety of UNIX platforms. |
